Mouse / BROWSER TEST
Move your mouse continuously inside the area to estimate how often movement events reach your browser. This is a browser event-rate estimate, not a direct USB measurement.
How to use this testMove continuously inside the area below for a stable estimate.
QUICK START
READ YOUR RESULTS
The test counts movement samples within a rolling one-second window. Where supported, it reads coalesced pointer events to include movement samples the browser grouped together. Average uses active windows; idle windows are excluded.
Browser scheduling, system load, remote sessions and event coalescing can affect the result. A configured 1000 Hz or higher mouse may not produce that exact number here. Use the manufacturer's tools when you need to verify the device's configured report rate.
Movement speed, browser support and system scheduling can limit the events visible to a webpage. Repeat with continuous movement and compare under the same conditions.
Peak shows the highest observed window, which may include bursts. Look at a sustained current reading and the average across active samples instead.
